Woodmont Real Estate Services is pleased to announce new property management assignments that have pushed its commercial assets under management beyond 7 million square feet, and crossed the 100+ multifamily community threshold in its portfolio of managed properties throughout Northern California.

In downtown San Jose, the Commercial Division has added 84 W. Santa Clara Street (pictured above) to its roster of commercial properties under management. Often called The GlassHouse because of its glass-casing and façade, the property is comprised of 8-stories of office space spanning 110,000 square feet. It was built in 1976 and owned by Pestana Properties. Three of the floors are currently undergoing a modernization upgrade.

Concurrently, Woodmont hired Elizabeth Bates to manage the asset as well as the company’s other downtown building, 55 N. Market Street.

Also, in downtown San Jose and adjacent to the Shark Tank (technically, SAP Center), long-time client Windy Hill Property Ventures assigned Woodmont to manage its newly acquired asset, a mixed-use property named Vespaio. Newly built and delivered in 2021, it features four levels of apartment homes (162 of them) in one, two and three-bedroom floorplans, above a parking structure and a mix of ground-floor retail and second-level office space comprised of 32,000-square feet of commercial property. Windy Hill is managing the commercial leasing at the property. Vespaio is in one of the most vibrant and walkable parts of the downtown, near the Alameda and Stockton Avenue (with many restaurants and shops), the region’s transportation hub (San Jose Diridon Station) and across the street from a Whole Foods market. Vespaio is also just 3 miles to San José Mineta International Airport.
