This week we celebrated exceptionalism and excellence with the entire Woodmont Real Estate Services team at our annual company gathering, WLIVE!
And what a wonderful day it was, to be together, networking, learning, and recognizing this year’s top performing team members and teams across multiple categories of property management.
We even used the event venue as a theme to our meeting – The Bridge Yard in Oakland. It was one of the primary staging areas for construction of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, which has since been dubbed the Bay Bridge.
Originally conceived as early as the 1850s, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge started construction after its more famous cousin, the Golden Gate Bridge, yet opened on November 12, 1936, six months before the Golden Gate Bridge. The Bay Bridge was built during the Great Depression at a cost of $77 million.
Keynote Speaker Terri Lynn Cardona, the proprietor of Stone Soup Performance Consulting, is a human resources strategy and business operations consultant that helps top brands enhance their bottom lines by improving and nurturing employee performance.
Cardona’s main message was to bridge the gap between what Woodmont promises to its clients, and what people experience as a result of the services rendered by Woodmont.
During her presentation, she took the 350+ Woodmont attendees through a SPOT analysis, to identify the company’s Strengths, Problems, Opportunities and Threats. It was an inclusive exercise and team-building experience that got everyone involved in thinking of ways to improve Woodmont’s business model, operations, and especially its primary offering to clients: customer service.
The highlight of the day, however, was celebrating and honoring the Woodmont individuals and teams that particularly shined in 2025, by offering and providing excellent customer service in all the core categories in which the company practices, including maintenance and service technicians, leasing professionals, community managers in property management, and teams that really exceeded expectations and produced phenomenal results for property owners and investors.
