Belmont, CA; April 2, 2026 –Woodmont Real Estate Services’ President of Multifamily Operations Jeff Bosshard, CPM,® announced that Ayonna Peoples has joined the company as the firm’s Compliance Manager with a focus on below-market rate (BMR) housing.
Ayonna will oversee housing regulations and compliance matters associated with BMR housing throughout Woodmont’s property management accounts in Northern California.
Of the 100+ multifamily communities managed by Woodmont, currently 19 of them include BMR apartments.
Financing for these properties include the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC), HUD programs (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development), and local programs.

Woodmont’s newest multifamily account – The Millton in Redwood City, contains 120 apartment homes that are all below market rate rents ranging from 30% and 80% of the region’s Area Medium Income requirements that will be monitored by the City of Redwood City.
Developed by The Sobrato Organization, The Millton represents the affordable housing component of a larger, mixed-use development called Broadway Village. The new market rate community, The Colton, will feature 398 apartment homes, and approximately 11,052 square feet of retail suites, plus 10,048 square feet for a childcare center.
Prior to joining Woodmont, Ayonna served as the Compliance Manager for Bridge Housing in San Francisco, and before that, Compliance Specialist with EAH Housing in San Rafael. Her nearly 20-year career in property management includes positions with The John Stewart Company, Midpen Housing Coalition and Eden Housing Management Inc.
